I am impressed with how well it’s made and it’s very Very nice looking! We tested it on a deer head in our living room and the pics seem to be clear enough to tell a lot about it .. my husband, using a lot of trail cameras for hunting, said that this one seems like it will work just fine!
I use as camera out where my wife is buried because they steal her merchandise that I put out and it’s working very fine thank you
Own many other cameras by different manufacturers. This is a very impressive camera for ease of use and quality of pictures. Plan on ordering more of these to use on game trails and security. Highly recommend.
good quality with good price.i will buy it again

Works great! Can’t wait to set up in the field. Latest was used to catch which dog was pooing in the middle of the night. Got him on camera thanks to your camera! And I was blaming my wife’s dog.
Awesome product! Solid construction, good video options, UI is solid. Only wish it had a mount screw on top as well as the bottom. But there are lots of mounting options and it comes with a cable mount and a pedestal mount.
fast shipping.cheap price.i like it
I have tried many different trail cameras. These are by far the easiest set up. I ordered 4 to start and test. I ordered two more and will be getting more. I use these cameras to monitor deer activity.
exactly what I was looking for. I have always been interested in the wildlife around my home. I have never used a remote camera before. The little acorn is easy to use. It can be set to take photos, videos or both, the interval between photos can be set and it can be programmed to function only at certain times of the day. The photo quality is ok, blurry if the subject is moving very fast but good depth of field. the night video function is a little grainy but still good enough that you can tell what is there. quite sensitive – mice and small birds will set it off if they are within about 60cm of the sensors.
Good product with Great customer service!
I have just purchased two of these, and so far are pleased with them. You can run them on just four batteries, but it’s best to use eight.
It can also be run on a 6v power supply (not included) You can use it straight from the box, but you may want to do a bit of fine tuning first ?.
I bought mine to record the foxes in the garden at night. The first time I used it, I caught a fox and a badger.
I also want to use it to monitor my property when I go on holiday, BUT PLEASE NOTE…..IT WILL NOT RECORD THROUGH GLASS….I don’t think any of these devices will, by their very nature. You can record video clips, single images, or both. You could pay a lot more, and not gain any
great advantage, apart from maybe battery life. At present I am using Duracell AAs, but will get some more Rechargeables soon. I am using 16gig SD cards, but apparently you can use 32Gig cards.
Purchased this item to find out what was eating the chicken feed at night. The trail cam helped us fine-tune our live trapping method for raccoons, and it is interesting to see the variety of wildlife that visits the barn at night.
Having used these for some little while now, a couple of tips. Rechargeable batteries work fine, but will only light up two of the battery indicator bars. I leave them out three or four time before swapping batteries. When batteries get low, videos only last a few seconds.
Put some sort of cover over the cameras, to keep rain off, and to stop lens from fogging up.
An excellent product that seems to give better night shots if there is no artificial light. It does take some practice to get the best from this camera but I would certainly recommend it for quality and ease of use. My only grumble would be that the strap was missing from the box, not a show stopper but annoying all the same. I have owned this product for only a few days and already I have some great wildlife shots taken both in the day and over night, it’s amazing the number of visitors a patio can have from wood mice, badgers, foxes and of course cats at night to a variety of garden and woodland birds throughout the day. To our great amusement it even tracked a snail ‘rocketing’ past. If you want some fantastic wildlife shots this is the product for you.
Having fun with this unit and have caught a fox sneaking through the garden in the early hours, a couple of cats and a hedgehog.
Can’t wait for Winter when I can fix it in the apple tree and watch bird activity around the feeders.
It takes good quality footage and stills day or night.
Being a gadget fan it attracted my interest but I’m starting to find more uses for it.
I was not expecting much from this little bit of kit, but how was I wrong. The pictures on a bright sunny day are crystal clear, they are still very good at lower light. At night you get Black and white, Probably the best way to shoot for clarity, but the pictures are more blurred and one can just make out which specie, but that is what I wanted to see what is there rather creating an award winning picture.
I have not been able to test it in wet conditions, so not sure about the seal. Also the fastening strap could be better constructed and is very fiddly and not easy in the field to attach to some places. It is too short for a wall tree stump and too fiddley for a young tree
All in all this camera and the videos its shoot are superb and it is worth every penny.
* Infra-red illumination is visible to the naked eye , but only faintly. In use I’ve found it to be un-noticable when set to take just photo’s – its when taking a video the IR stays on and is slightly noticable…..yet its only a dull dark red glow and if I didn’t know where the camera was I doubt I’d notice it.
* Batteries – using duracell 2450ma rechargables , they don’t seem to be affected by the cold and last for around 2000+ photos
* Case – fiddley and strangely designed… but its ok… seems durable and all the moving parts fit well and provides a waterproof seal.
* Menu – just remember to click ‘ok’ after you’ve selected your choice! otherwise straightforward, instructions not read or needed.
* Fixing to a tree ( or similar) This is where the case’s design is good! – I use dark green plastic coated garden wire ( although a strap is included) and fixing takes hardly any more than a minute or 2, and because of the cases rounded rear it can be fixed to point at any angle away from the tree.
Trip Mode:
It’s quite fast, probably between 1 & 1.5 seconds. – The reason why it is faster than most stealth cameras is because it has side sensors which prime the camera – however this can be switched off if they arn’t needed.
I have it set to take 3 pictures every trip and have the next trip set to 0 secs after the last photo is taken. there is a lag between the last of the pictures being taken and the next time it will trip though, regardless of this setting – the lag is possibly around 5 to 10 secs though I’ haven’t accurately measured this.
This camera has so far taken in excess of 10,000 photos…….I’ve used it for time-lapse a lot!. This feature isn’t on most trap camera’s and works really well on the little acorn. The interval of the time lapse is user defined – even down to every few seconds
